Congregate Health Living Facilities CLHF

Goel health is a Congregate Living Health Facility also known as a CLHF (Cliff). The California Department of Public Health defines CLHF's as a residential home with a capacity of no more than six beds, which provides inpatient care, including the following basic services: medical supervision, 24-hour skilled nursing and supportive care, pharmacy, dietary, social recreational, and Services for persons who are catastrophically and severely disabled. A catastrophically and severely disabled person means a person whose origin of disability was acquired through trauma or non-degenerative neurologic illness, for whom it has been determined that active rehabilitation would be beneficial and for whom these services would be provided. Services offered by a CLHF to a catastrophically disabled person shall include, but not be limited to, speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The primary need of CLHF residents shall be for availability of skilled nursing care on a recurring, intermittent, extended, or continuous basis. The care is generally less intense than that provided in general acute care hospitals but more intense than that provided in skilled nursing facilities.

Our professional team is here to treat and maintain the needs of patients who have suffered from a catastrophic life event that has led to total ventilator support. The Co-founder Elliott North, Is a Board Certified Respiratory Therapist and has years of experience in the management of respiratory related illness. As a former Director of Respiratory Care he created extensive protocols to expedite the weaning of ventilator patients.
Rehabilitation Services
Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy
Upon admission patients will be evaluated and a care plan will be developed. In that care plan Physicians may recommend PT, ST, and OT. Goel health provides these services through contracted services allowing them to be done at bedside with the patient.
Nursing Services

Our friendly and experienced staff will make sure you always feel comfortable and well-informed. Led by Raymond Castleberry, Board Certified Registered Nurse and Co-Owner, our Registered Nurses are able to manage intravenous medicines, artificial nutrition, and the total care of the patient. Our Registered Dietician also evaluates your loved one to ensure nutritional needs are being met.
